About Us

Meet Jennifer McGinnis

Founder, Principal Designer

Jennifer specializes in a creative, client-led approach that allows her to serve as design interpreter—for captivating, cohesive results.

She graduated from the Illinois Institute of Art with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design and also holds an NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) Certificate.

And she loves a good gin and tonic.

Our Design Philosophy

Deliver a Full-Sensory Experience.

Fresh, bold looks that incorporate durable quality materials. The tile that makes a dull laundry room feel like a spa day. The gallery wall that elevates favorite football memorabilia and turns a furnished basement into Superbowl central.

A passion for well-made elements down to the final hinge. The click of a perfectly crafted solid wood door sliding home. And, yes, literally speaking— the placement of every speaker to make a media room feel like a night out.

The essential textures, patterns, and tiny details that bring it all together. The contrast of a beaded lamp on a sleek lacquered table. The overstuffed velvet pillow that transforms reading in your accent chair into a reward at the end of a long day.

Every facet considered, down to how your senses will recall each memory in your home. We love the scents that come with construction and new beginnings—from fresh paint to clean, benchcrafted cabinets to newly sanded floors.

Turning your personal taste into a comfortable retreat where life feels just a little bit sweeter. We can also revamp your kitchen to create a place where you may actually want to cook.
